S Parmar (Raj) holds a Masters’
degree in Computer Science with specialization
in Computer Graphics from the Indian
Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai,
India and a graduate degree in Electronics
& Telecommunication with Specialization
in Computer Technology from Benaras
Hindu University-Institute of Technology
(BHU-IT), Benaras, India.
Besides, one year training in Nuclear
Science at Bhabha Atomic Research Center
(BARC), he has also undertaken professional
courses in Satellite Communication and
Management subjects.
Raj’s career has traversed multiple
industries with multi-faceted activities,
fueled by his deep desire to imbibe
technical & domain knowledge and
converge it into a company that is dedicated
to developing path-breaking innovations,
aptly named Emerging Technologies. |

Started his career as a Scientist
with BARC (Bhabha Atomic Research Centre)
and contributed with pioneering work
in some of the country's most prestigious
projects. |

Spent most of his career years in
the print media industry and has worked
with several newspaper houses in India
including the worlds’ leading
and India’s largest newspaper
group Bennett, Coleman & Company
Limited. He worked as General Manager
– Modernization with Bennett,
Coleman & Company Limited, publisher
of The Times of India, Economic Times,
Life style magazines and other vernacular
newspapers. |

Prior to that, he headed
technology team of Observer India limited,
a print media venture of Reliance Group
of Industries which is one of the largest
corporations of India. |

Post these assignments,
with the emergence of GSM technology
in India, he occupied the position of
CIO with France Telecoms’ initiative
in India – BPL Mobile |

Co-founded Recreate
Solutions, a UK based venture to deliver
interactive TV, VDO on demand, mobile
gamming, e-Learning and content management.
On Recreate registering profitability,
started Emerging Technology. |
