| CELL SITE MONITORING SYSTEM |
Monitor
your cell sites remotely from
anywhere in the world through
Mobile handset, Internet or
LAN. Increase Uptime, Efficiency
and reduce down time.
Emerging Technology offers a
state-of-the-art GPRS enabled
Cell-Site Monitoring System
(CMS).
It is essential to understand
men and machine utilization
which are key factors in deciding
overall productivity and efficiency.
To improve the efficiency it
is necessary to quantify parameters
like Temperature, Door Opening,
Power Systems, Back-up Diesel
in the DG sets and other parameters.
CMS is an On-line application
which records the current status
with all the important strategic
parameters. The software is
linked with a RDBMS (Database)
which is loaded on the server.
Besides instant SMS (text messages
on Mobile) it also provides
e-Mails as well as an internet
enabled report viewing based
on access rights

Quicker RoI (Return-On-Investments), Economical & Cost effective |
|
| Scalability |
The
basic model is ET-TEC 28 comes
with 16 Digital Inputs, 8 Analog
inputs, 8 Digital outputs. Nevertheless,
in case of any additional requirements
or future enhancements the system
is scalable up to 96 Digital
Inputs, 16 Digital Outputs,
16 Analog Inputs and 5 high
speed pulsating Digital Inputs.
The system is configurable and
field programmable.
Data logging interval is configurable
either by time OR setting the
trigger of threshold. Trigger
threshold can be set for a low
or high value of the input parameters.
This feature can reduce data
redundancy. Every status / change
in parameter is assigned a message
string. This helps in for better
appreciation of the status and
ground realities.

| Operations |
The system is in continuous scan mode. The system monitors status of all the Digital signals as well as values of Analog parameters. Besides, it also measures the rate of change of parameters and status of digital signal over a period of time. It compares the captured data with a pre-defined Look-Up-Table (LUT) to initiates communication in different modes viz. SMS, e-Mail and populating the database.
It has three levels of escalations. Level1 are the first recipients of SMS during a fault occurrence. On receipt of the SMS, they are expected to rectify the fault in pre-defined time frame say T1. If they fail to rectify within the pre-defined turn-around-time (TAT) T1, it sends communication to level 2. Here too they are expected to address the fault in a predefined time of T2. If they fail to resolve then the fault is escalated to level 3.
Every user on the database can have different access rights and is privy to the view assigned to the respective user. |
